I have practiced illustration and design for 10 years, and have made art-making my passion. My influences are the Pre-Raphaelites, Dutch Renaissance masters, woodcuts, the Weimar period, and Surrealism. For design, I draw from the early to mid 20th century, ranging from the Swiss, Japanese, and especially the Bauhaus school.

My goals: If I’m making art, I want to make works of powerful mystery and striking beauty. If I’m making a design, I want it to communicate clearly and efficiently.
